Privacy, at a glance.
This policy describes the Ithaca app and its marketing and support website. The developer is Christos Kesidis, based in Greece. You can contact the developer at c.kesid@icloud.com.
Ithaca does not send your gameplay or preferences to a developer-operated server. The app has no accounts, advertising, tracking SDKs, or third-party analytics integrations. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Your journey stays on your device.
The app saves information locally so you can continue where you left off. This includes your current puzzle and mirror positions, move history, completed puzzles, daily-puzzle progress, unlocked reflections, language, sound, haptic, text-size, and motion preferences.
We do not receive those local records through the app. Daily puzzles are selected on your device using the UTC date and the puzzle collection included in the app; they do not require a server request.
Deleting the app removes its locally stored data from that device. App data may also be included in Apple device backups according to your Apple settings. Ithaca does not provide its own cloud-sync service, and reinstalling the app does not itself guarantee that progress will be restored.
Purchases and Apple services.
Apple handles App Store downloads and payments. We do not receive your payment-card details. Ithaca has no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Apple may process purchase records, device backups, diagnostics, and other platform information under its own policies and your device settings. If you choose to share diagnostics with developers through Apple, Apple may make diagnostic information available to us to help identify and fix problems. These platform services are separate from the app’s local gameplay storage.
Read Apple’s privacy policy for information about Apple’s handling of data.
If you contact us.
When you send a support email, we receive the email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond, troubleshoot the issue, and keep a record of the support conversation. It is not added to a marketing list.
Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, maintain relevant support records, and meet applicable legal obligations. You may ask us to delete it, subject to any obligations that require us to retain it. Email providers also process messages under their own terms and privacy policies.
About this website.
This website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, contact forms, or embedded third-party video players. The gameplay video and fonts are served as part of the site. We do not set analytics or advertising cookies.
The hosting and security providers that deliver the site may process technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, and access logs, to provide and protect the service. Site hosting is provided through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Their processing is governed by their own policies: OpenAI and Cloudflare.
Following an external link, including a link to Apple, takes you to a service with its own privacy policy. An email link opens your chosen email application; this site does not submit a support form in the background.
Your choices and rights.
You can change your preferences in the app and manage app storage and device backups in your Apple device settings. There is no developer account to close and no developer-hosted gameplay history to request.
For personal information you send through support, you can request access, correction, or deletion by emailing c.kesid@icloud.com. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing and to complain to your local data-protection authority. We will handle requests as required by applicable law.
Children’s privacy.
Ithaca is a general-audience puzzle game. It does not ask players of any age to create an account or provide personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through support and would like it removed, please contact us.
Changes and contact.
If the app or these practices change, this policy will be updated and the date above will change. Material changes will be described here.
